In close cooperation with suppliers, customers and universities, Fresenius Kabi continuously improves its production processes. New processes are tested and evaluated in close collaboration with quality assurance and quality control departments. Laboratory and pilot-scale testing is undertaken to develop full-scale production processes for the manufacture of new products. Feasibility studies are undertaken in response to customer requests that range from the modification of existing production processes to servicing special requirements for the filling process. One key field of expertise is the optimal use of membrane separation technology.
Successful grant applications for research projects, the patents applied for and those held by Fresenius Kabi Austria demonstrate the high standards and the capabilities of process development at Fresenius Kabi Linz.
